Answer
Wilhelm Wien was a German physicist who did most of his noted work in the 19th century. He is best known for his work on blackbody radiation, which he published in 1893. Wien's law states that the wavelength of the peak of the blackbody radiation curve is inversely proportional to the temperature of the blackbody.
