William Pitt the Younger (1759-1806) was the son of William Pitt the Elder, who was Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1757 to 1761. Pitt the Younger also served as Prime Minister, from 1783 to 1801 and from 1804 to 1806. He is considered one of the most important British Prime Ministers, and his legacy includes the abolition of the slave trade and the passage of the Corn Laws.
