William Sterling Parsons (October 3, 1901 – January 17, 1952), nicknamed Deak, was a U.S. Navy officer and one of the five members of the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" team who conducted the first atomic bomb test in the desert near Alamogordo, New Mexico.
