Brahimi joined the Rennes youth academy after leaving Clairefontaine. He played for the academy from 2004 to 2010, before signing his first professional contract with the club. He made his professional debut for Rennes in 2010, and went on to play for the club for six seasons. In 2015, he signed for Porto, where he has played ever since.
