Yuri Dolgorukiy held Kiev twice in his lifetime (September 1149 - April 1151, and March 1155 - May 1157). He ruled as the Grand Prince of all Rus', but his autocratic rule and perceived foreigner status made him unpopular with the Kievan boyars.
