Mark R. Brzezinski is the United States Ambassador to Poland. He is the younger son of Zbigniew Brzezinski, who served as National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981. Brzezinski was born in New York City in 1963 and attended Harvard University, where he earned a degree in political science. He then served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Poland from 1985 to 1987.
