Curentul Nou was the original name of the literary review Sanielevici started in 1905. The review was published from 1905 to 1907, and then again from 1909 to 1910. It was a forum for the expression of the new, modern Romanian literature, and featured the work of such writers as Octavian Goga, Liviu Rebreanu, and Barbu Ştefănescu Delavrancea.
