Azadegan () is a political-social movement founded by Ahmad Kasravi in Iran in 1942. The movement was formed with the goal of establishing a democratic, secular state in Iran. The movement was opposed to the monarchy and the religious establishment, and called for the modernization of Iranian society. The movement was banned by the Iranian government in 1945, and many of its members were arrested and executed.
