Answer
Kollontai was a member of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP), which split into the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. Kollontai initially sided with Julius Martov's Mensheviks, who were in favour of a gradual transition to socialism through reforms.
