Alexandru Tzigara-Samurcaș was the first-ever lecturer at Radio Romania. He served as a lecturer from 1925 to 1927, and was also a member of the radio's governing board. Tzigara-Samurcaș was a leading figure in the development of radio in Romania, and his lectures helped to educate the public about the new medium.
