The Washington Agreement was signed by Alija Izetbegović and Croatian President Franjo Tuđman in Washington D.C. on March 18, 1994. It was an agreement between the Bosnian government and Croatian forces that ended the Croat-Bosniak War. The agreement established a ceasefire and called for the withdrawal of Croatian troops from Bosnia-Herzegovina. It also provided for the establishment of a joint Bosnian-Croat Federation.
