Almazbek Sharshenovich Atambayev (; born 17 September 1954) is a Kyrgyz politician who served as the fourth President of Kyrgyzstan from 2011 to 2017. He was previously the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from 2007 to 2010. He was the first President of Kyrgyzstan to be born after the independence of the country from the Soviet Union.
