Anja Pärson won the overall Alpine Skiing World Cup twice, in 2004 and 2006. She is one of the most successful female skiers in history, having also won seven World Championship medals, including three golds. Pärson retired from competition in 2012 and was inducted into the International Ski Hall of Fame in 2018.
