Anthony Blunt was a professor at the University of London. He was a prominent art historian and academic, and also a member of the British Secret Service. He was recruited by MI5 in 1937 and was responsible for passing on information about Soviet agents in Britain. He was eventually exposed as a Soviet spy in 1964, and resigned from his position at the University of London.
