Answer
The National Legionary State was a Romanian nationalist and fascist dictatorship. It was founded by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu in 1930. The regime was based on Codreanu's ideology of "Christian Fascism", which combined fascist principles with Christian values. Codreanu was assassinated in 1938 by the Romanian government, and his death marked a base for violent retribution under the National Legionary State.
