Answer
Elizabeth Siddal was a model/muse for Dante Gabriel Rossetti, but she was also his wife. The two were married in 1860 and had a daughter together, but their marriage was not a happy one. Siddal suffered from mental illness and died of an overdose of laudanum in 1862. Rossetti was devastated by her death and wrote many poems about her.
