The Dutch Golden Shoe is an award given to the top goalscorer in the Dutch Eredivisie. Dirk Kuyt won this award in his final season at Utrecht, the 2005-06 season. He scored 29 goals in 34 matches, helping Utrecht finish fourth in the league. Kuyt's impressive goal-scoring record earned him a move to Liverpool in the summer of 2006.
