Temple of the Dog was a supergroup formed in 1990 as a tribute to the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of Mother Love Bone. The band featured members of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Malfunkshun, with Eddie Vedder as a guest vocalist. Temple of the Dog released one self-titled album in 1991, which featured the hit singles "Hunger Strike" and "Say Hello 2 Heaven."
