After returning from exile, Venizelos served as prime minister three more times, in 1924, 1928, and 1932. During these periods in office, he expanded on his policies and reforms. He introduced a number of social reforms, including the establishment of a social security system and the extension of suffrage to women. He also continued his efforts to modernize the Greek economy, building roads, ports, and factories.
