John Perry Barlow, an American lyricist, poet, essayist, and cyberlibertarian, died on February 7, 2018, at the age of 70. He is best known for writing the lyrics to the Grateful Dead's song "The Terrapin Station" and for his work as a co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
