Fawzia Fuad of Egypt was the first wife of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran. She was born in 1921 in Cairo, Egypt, and was the daughter of King Fuad I of Egypt and his wife, Nazli Sabri. Fawzia was educated in Egypt and Europe, and in 1939 she married Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was then the crown prince of Iran.
