The Stuttering Foundation of America's Annie Glenn Award for Leadership is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing the cause of stuttering and the interests of people who stutter. The award is named after the wife of former astronaut and Senator John Glenn. She has been an advocate for people who stutter since her husband's public announcement in 1997 that he stuttered.
