Answer
After his first term as president ended, Fulgencio Batista moved to Florida in the United States. He had been elected president of Cuba in 1940, and his first term ended in 1944. He then served as president from 1952 to 1959, when he was overthrown by Fidel Castro. Batista fled to Florida after Castro's victory, and he lived there until his death in 1973.
