Charles Francis Wilson (1888–1955) was a British physicist and mathematician, known for his work on Theory of elasticity and the scattering of sound waves. He was a professor at the University of Cambridge, and served as the President of the Institute of Physics in 1944. In the 1910s, Wilson was a fellow at Trinity College, where he became friends with Srinivasa Ramanujan and G. H. Hardy.
