The answer is Antioch. Antioch was the capital of the Seleucid Empire and one of the largest cities in the ancient world. It was located in southern Turkey, near the border with Syria. In 1097, during the First Crusade, Godfrey of Bouillon and the other crusaders laid siege to Antioch. The siege lasted for almost eight months and was one of the bloodiest and most difficult battles of the crusade.
