Hans Frank was a Nazi politician who served as the first Governor General of Poland during World War II. He was also a Reichsminister without portfolio in Hitler's cabinet. As Governor General, Frank was responsible for the brutal Nazi occupation of Poland and the deaths of millions of Poles. He was convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg Trials and executed in 1946.
