Ahmed Fuad, also known as Ahmed Fuad II, was the last king of Egypt and Sudan, reigning from 1952 to 1953. He was born on July 16, 1952, as the only son of Farouk I and Nariman Sadek. Farouk abdicated in his favor on July 23, 1952, after the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. Ahmed Fuad II was deposed on June 18, 1953, and Egypt became a republic.
