Campbell-Bannerman served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for three years from 1905 to 1908. He led the Liberal Party to a landslide victory in the 1906 general election, and his government introduced a number of reforms, including the introduction of old-age pensions and the establishment of the Board of Trade. Campbell-Bannerman resigned in 1908 due to ill health, and was succeeded by H. H. Asquith.
