The Melbourne Storm was the first club that Inglis played for in the National Rugby League (NRL). He made his debut for the Storm in 2007 and played for them until 2010. During his time with the Storm, Inglis won the Dally M Rookie of the Year award in 2007 and was selected for the Queensland State of Origin team and the Australian national team.
