Ismail Sabri is the shortest-serving Prime Minister. He was appointed as Prime Minister of Malaysia on 21 August 2021, following the resignation of Muhyiddin Yassin. However, he was ousted from office on 21 April 2022, after losing a vote of no-confidence in the Dewan Rakyat. As a result, he is the shortest-serving Prime Minister in Malaysian history.
