Jock Britton was a Scottish footballer who played as a right-half for Motherwell, Dundee, Hearts, Everton, Celtic and Scotland. He was born in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, and began his career with Albion Rovers, making his debut in 1911. He joined Motherwell in 1912, and helped the club to win the Scottish Football League title in 1913. In 1914, he moved to Dundee, where he remained for three seasons.
