The Irish Worker League was a communist party recognised by the Comintern as the Irish section of the world communist movement. The League was founded in Dublin in 1921 by a group of left-wing trade unionists who had split from the Irish Labour Party. The League was initially affiliated to the Communist Party of Great Britain, but in 1922 it became independent and affiliated to the Comintern.
