After returning to the United States, Karski worked for the Polish government-in-exile and taught at Georgetown University for decades. He was also active in the anti-Communist resistance and a witness in the Nuremburg Trials. In 1952, he published his book "Story of a Secret State," which chronicled his experiences during the war.
