Karol Wojtyła studied Theology at university. He attended the Jagiellonian University in Kraków from 1942 to 1944, and then studied at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome from 1946 to 1948. In 1948, he was ordained a priest.
