After directing several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Jonathan Frakes ventured into feature filmmaking. His directorial debut came in 1995 with the science fiction adventure movie Clockstoppers, followed by the 2004 live-action adaptation of the popular British TV series, Thunderbirds.
