Konstantinos Karamanlis, often known as Constantine Karamanlis or Caramanlis, was a Greek politician who served as the Prime Minister of Greece from 1955 to 1963, 1967 to 1974, and 1974 to 1980. He also served as the President of Greece from 1980 to 1985. Karamanlis was a leading figure in the Greek Resistance during World War II and was a founding member of the New Democracy party.
