Kurt Georg Kiesinger was born in Ebingen, a small town in the southwest of Germany. He grew up in a poor family and had to work hard to support himself. He eventually went on to study law and became a successful lawyer. Kiesinger was also involved in politics and served as the Chancellor of Germany from 1966 to 1969.
