Livia was married to Augustus, the first Roman emperor, and they had two children together, Tiberius and Drusus the Younger. Tiberius succeeded Augustus as emperor, and he was succeeded by his son, Claudius. Claudius married Agrippina the Younger, the daughter of Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder. Agrippina the Younger was the mother of Nero.
