Queen of Prussia, Louise was the wife of King Frederick William III. She was known for her beauty, intelligence, and patriotism. During the Napoleonic Wars, she became a symbol of Prussian resistance to French occupation. She died in 1810, at the age of 34, from complications of childbirth.
