Ľubomír Moravčík was born in Bratislava, Slovakia on April 22, 1962. He is a former professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder. Moravčík made his professional debut in 1980 for Slovan Bratislava and went on to play for several other clubs in Slovakia, France, Germany, and Austria. He also represented Czechoslovakia at international level, winning 63 caps and scoring 19 goals. Moravčík retired from playing in 1999.
