Friedrich Schiller was invited to Leipzig by Huber and his friends. They were impressed by his poetry and wanted him to be part of their group. Schiller was initially reluctant, but eventually agreed to join them. He spent the next few years in Leipzig, where he wrote some of his most famous works, including The Robbers and The Maid of Orleans.
