Marie Fredriksson, the lead singer of the Swedish pop duo Roxette, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2002. The tumour was discovered after she experienced dizziness and loss of balance. She underwent surgery to remove the tumour, followed by radiation and chemotherapy. Despite the diagnosis, Fredriksson continued to perform and record with Roxette until her death in 2019.
