Martha McSally ran for the U.S. Senate twice. Her first campaign was in 2018, when she lost to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema. She ran again in 2020, this time losing to Democrat Mark Kelly. McSally's two Senate campaigns were unsuccessful, but she has held other elected offices, including serving as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and as Arizona's Secretary of State.
