Yasuhito Endō has represented Japan in three Confederations Cups. He first played in the 2003 Confederations Cup, where he scored one goal in Japan's 3–0 win over Cameroon. He also played in the 2005 Confederations Cup, where Japan reached the final before losing to Brazil. Endō played in all three of Japan's matches in the 2013 Confederations Cup, helping the team to finish in third place.
