Chris Grayling served as Secretary for State for Transport during the May Government. He was appointed to this role on 13 July 2016 and served until 24 July 2019. Grayling is a member of the Conservative Party and has held a number of other ministerial positions, including Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and Secretary of State for Justice.
