Isaac Barrow passed away on the 4th of May 1677, at the age of 59. He was a mathematician, physicist, and theologian, and is best known for his work on optics and calculus. He was also a tutor to Isaac Newton, who would later go on to become one of the most important mathematicians and physicists of all time.
