Malcolm Orme Little, better known as Malcolm X, died of natural causes. He was assassinated on February 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan, New York City. Three men were convicted of his murder and sentenced to life in prison. However, in 2021, two of the men were exonerated after a re-examination of the case found that they had been wrongly convicted.
