Maud of Wales was a British princess and queen consort of Norway. She was the only child of Edward VII of the United Kingdom and Alexandra of Denmark. Maud married Crown Prince Haakon of Norway in 1896 and they had one child, Olaf V, who succeeded his father as king in 1905. Maud died in 1938 and was buried in the Royal Mausoleum in Oslo, Norway.
