Pierre Maurice Marie Debré was a French statesman, physician, lawyer and politician. He served as Prime Minister of France from 1959 to 1962, and then as Minister of Justice from 1962 to 1969. Debré is more known for his words than his bodily actions. He is best known for his work on the Constitution of France of 1958, which he helped to draft.
