Mikhail Frunze was sent to Siberia as a result of his involvement in the Bolshevik Revolution. Siberia is a region in eastern Russia that is known for its harsh winters and vast expanses of land. Frunze was imprisoned in a series of gulags, or forced labour camps, in Siberia. He spent several years in Siberia before being released and allowed to return to Russia.
